We’re proud to share that monday.com has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Collaborative Work Management (CWM) for the fourth consecutive year. monday.com has been a Leader every year since Gartner first published the report.
For the second year in a row, monday.com was also positioned furthest for Completeness of Vision and highest for Ability to Execute among all vendors evaluated.
We believe this recognition reflects a shift we’ve fully committed to over the past year: moving from tracking the work people are doing to actually getting the work done. On the monday AI Workspace, people and AI agents do that work together.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors on two axes: Completeness of Vision, meaning where a vendor is taking its product and market, and Ability to Execute, meaning how well it delivers today.
For the second consecutive year, monday.com was placed furthest on vision and highest on execution. In our view, this shows that customers don’t have to choose between a platform ready for where work is going and one that already performs reliably.
We scored the highest in three of seven critical capabilities
In the accompanying 2026 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Collaborative Work Management report, monday.com was the highest-scoring vendor in three of the seven use cases evaluated. It also placed among the three highest-scoring vendors in all seven.
Work planning and execution
Teams plan, assign, track and deliver work in one place, from a single project to a full portfolio. On monday AI Workspace, the Dependency and Risk Mapper agent traces dependency chains and flags where one delay will cascade into downstream work, with a suggested fix for each at-risk chain. The Tasks Progress Agent tracks project health and sends alerts before issues affect delivery.
Intake, triage, and service operations
Requests arrive and move through to resolution inside the same workspace as the rest of the team’s work. The Ticket Management Agent prioritizes each incoming ticket and routes it to the right service team. For common issues, it can resolve the ticket straight from your knowledge base. The SLA Monitor tracks response and resolution times against your SLA targets and alerts the right manager before a breach.
Product management operations
Product and engineering teams connect sprints and releases to the roadmap and the business goals behind it. The Sprint Planner organizes the backlog and drafts sprint goals around the team’s capacity. The Feature Request Agent checks each incoming request against your documentation and roadmap, then records whether an existing capability already solves it.
We believe scoring at or near the top across every use case reflects what makes the platform different: one workspace that adapts to each team, instead of a separate tool for every function.
The shift from tracking work to getting work done
Over the past year, monday.com has committed fully to the AI Workspace, where people and AI agents plan and execute work on a shared, governed data and workflow layer.
We feel, being recognized as a Leader for the fourth year in a row tells us our customers see the value in the strategic shift we have undertaken,
said Daniel Lereya, Chief Product and Technology Officer at monday.com.
Work management used to mean tracking what people were doing. Today, AI agents and teams on monday.com work side-by-side, on the same data and the same workflows, to actually get the work done. This is where modern work is headed, and it belongs to every team, not just the technical ones.
monday AI Workspace’s capabilities bring all of this to life.
AI agents that do the work
AI on monday.com isn’t an add-on that’s kept separate from your work. Instead, agents act directly on monday AI Workspace data and workflows, taking on real end-to-end tasks alongside the teams they support.
Ready-made agents cover sales, marketing, operations, IT, HR, product, and customer service. They score leads, triage tickets, flag risks, summarize meetings and more. Teams can also build a custom agent in three steps, first by describing the role, the tasks and when it should run. Next, they connect the knowledge and tools the agent needs before testing, refining and rolling it out.
Each agent takes its context from the boards and documents you choose, including PDFs, so the agent’s work follows your guidelines from the start. Agents work around the clock across time zones and languages while keeping your connected apps in sync. As they work on the same boards and workflows as the rest of your team, everyone can see and trace what they produce. People set the direction and stay in the lead, while agents handle the execution. You control what each agent can access, and a clear record of its actions keeps everything transparent.
Alongside agents, monday sidekick is a personal AI assistant for in-the-moment work. It understands your boards, docs, teammates and connected apps, so teams can use it to analyze board data, update items through conversation, send Slack messages and emails, and check calendar availability. Crucially, monday sidekick only accesses data a person already has permission to see.
Built for business teams, not just technical experts
The teams closest to the work should be able to shape how it gets done. On monday AI Workspace, any team can set up multi-step automations and build its own apps without writing code or waiting on IT.
Using monday vibe, teams describe the app they need in natural language and Vibe builds it inside the AI Workspace, so an idea quickly becomes a working tool. The apps connect to live board data and update in real time; teams use them to build commission calculators, event portals, time trackers and executive dashboards.
AI blocks also support everyday board work. They categorize items, summarize long text, extract details from files, translate content and detect sentiment, all running directly inside columns. AI workflows chain those blocks into automations. A workflow might pull data from an attached file, for example, before using it to categorize the item and assign it to the right person.
One connected workspace for your entire organization
Everything on monday AI Workspace runs on the same AI, powered by a shared data layer called mondayDB. AI draws on context across every department as organizations work on one connected platform whether they start with a single team or roll out company-wide.
monday MCP connects external AI assistants to the same data, so teams can create items, run analyses and generate reports from the assistant they already use. Each person authorizes access individually, and the assistant only sees what that person can already see in monday AI Workspace.
Leaders get the visibility and controls they need, including admin settings and granular permissions that define who can use AI across the account. monday.com encrypts the data by default, and doesn’t use customer data to train its AI models. As a result, teams move fast without compromising on security.
The next era of work management
Four years as a Leader is a milestone we’re proud of, and we’re even more excited about what follows. We believe the next era of working with AI belongs to platforms where people lead and AI agents act, and that power should be open to every team, technical or not.
Thank you to our customers, who push us to build for how their teams work every day.
