You know how important good CRM software is to your business. In addition to helping you track customer interactions and manage accounts, CRMs are critical for streamlining the workday and generally making life easier for you and your team.

No matter how great the CRM software is, though, it won’t do you much good if you can’t afford it.

So, before you get all excited about that overpriced sports car — metaphorically speaking — let’s start by thinking about price. To save you from doing all the research yourself, we’ve put together this helpful post where we do a deep dive into Pipedrive’s pricing, features, plans, and more.

What is Pipedrive?

Pipedrive is one of the more popular names in the CRM and sales pipeline management space. Pipedrive may just offer the tools and functions you need to get things done, but it’s important to understand its free and paid offerings, first.

Is Pipedrive free to use?

If you want to test Pipedrive’s features before you commit to a paid plan, the tool offers a 14-day free trial.

Pipedrive offers a free trial and does not require credit card information for users to get started. Unfortunately, there are some limitations to Pipedrive’s free trial. Here are a few of the largest:

  • Pipedrive has a pretty narrow focus to begin with — CRM and sales management — and users on the free trial version of the tool won’t have access to the paid add-ons that Pipedrive uses to fill these gaps in their service.
  • If you want lead management tools, you’ll find they are not available in the free trial version of Pipedrive.

For reference, monday.com also offers a no-card free trial and allows users to test Pro plan features, so you get a full sense of how the platform works and feels.

What type of pricing plans does Pipedrive offer?

Did you know that experts expect global IT spending to hit $3.754 trillion in 2021? That represents a 4% increase from 2020. And while investing in good tools is just smart business, it’s frustrating to engage with software you can’t afford.

Don’t worry, though — it is possible to find a CRM platform that provides all the functions you need at a price you can afford.

And when it comes to Pipedrive, you have a few different options.

1. Essential

The Essential plan is $12.50 per user, per month and contains tools that you need to get started with a sales CRM.

The activity invites in this plan are branded and users get 2 permission sets for admins or project managers.

Here’s what you’ll get in this plan:

  • Multiple pipelines
  • Customizable views
  • Fields
  • Activities
  • 100+ apps and integrations
  • An app for iOS and Android
  • Chat and email support
  • Plus more

2. Advanced

The Advanced plan for Pipedrive costs $24.90 per user, per month.

This plan is well-suited to mid sized businesses and teams who want a sales CRM to track and automate daily activities to reduce manual work and facilitate smoother sales.

In this plan, you’ll get all of the features of the essential plan, plus:

  • Unbranded activity invites
  • A sales inbox
  • Availability to sync email with all major providers
  • Email templates, open and click tracking, and more
  • Workflow automation

3. Professional

The Professional plan comes in at $49.90 per user, per month.

It is designed for large and rapidly-growing teams that need a comprehensive CRM solution to help them communicate, collaborate, and scale.

Subscribers to the Professional plan can expect to receive everything in the Advanced plan, plus:

  • 3 permissions sets
  • Unlimited visibility groups
  • Group emailing
  • Security dashboards, alerts, and rules
  • Revenue forecast reporting tools
  • Teams

4. Enterprise

Pipedrive’s most expensive plan is the Enterprise plan, which costs $99.00 per user, per month.

The Enterprise plan contains features designed for large teams that need more from a CRM solution.

Subscribers to this plan receive everything available in previous plans, plus:

  • Unlimited permissions sets
  • Account management tools
  • Professional setup
  • Access to phone support

Is Pipedrive the best project management software for you?

Ultimately, you’re the one who knows the most about your team’s needs and budget.

Still, if you’re looking for a platform that offers all-in-one functionality, Pipedrive is likely to feel a little fragmented.

Remember, Pipedrive is a CRM and sales cycle management tool. That’s their niche, and they’re sticking to it.

If you need lead generation or website visitor tools and insights, you have to purchase another piece of Pipedrive software to get those features. For teams that want a simple solution that saves them from juggling multiple platforms, those add-ons could feel inconvenient and clunky.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at what we offer at monday.com, so you can compare and contrast.
