As an entrepreneur or business owner, you’re blessed with lots of options for project management software – 289 and counting according to our latest count.

The decision of which software to choose often comes down to what features they offer, and maybe how much it’ll cost—but getting accurate information can be a royal pain.

We’ve saved you the trouble by tracking down complete pricing information for many project management tools.

In this post, we’re covering ClickUp.

What is ClickUp?

Founded in March 2017, ClickUp is a relative newcomer in the project management software space.

What type of pricing plans does ClickUp offer?

According to research by Capterra, companies spend a median of $1,200 implementing project management software like ClickUp.

ClickUp has 4 paid plans to choose from: Free Forever, Unlimited, Business, and Enterprise.

1) Free

You know that saying “there isn’t any free lunch?”

Well, while ClickUp does offer a free plan, it sharply limits what you can do with ClickUp.

With the Free Forever plan, you only get 5 workspaces, and can only store 100MB worth of docs.

You also lose access to many of the integrations (including Google Drive and Dropbox) and you can’t edit file permissions.

If you need more storage, or can’t do without a feature that’s missing, read on to see what you’ll get on a paid plan.

2) Unlimited plan

Unlimited, ClickUp’s cheapest paid plan, costs $9 per member per month if you pay monthly, and $5 per member per month if you pay by the year ($60 total). For comparison purposes, monday.com’s cheapest paid plan costs $8 per user per month.

What do you get with ClickUp’s Unlimited plan?

Mind maps and dashboard widgets are limited in the Unlimited plan (ironically).

What’s included:

  • Guest permissions
  • A maximum of 1,000 automations per month
  • 7-day activity and box views
  • Limited views and uses of views including Timeline and Workload

2) Business plan

ClickUp’s Business plan costs $19 per member per month, or $9 per member per month if you pay for the whole year up front ($108 total).

What do you get with ClickUp’s Business plan?

  • The ability to set required custom fields
  • 10,000 automations
  • All views
  • Two-factor authentication

3) Enterprise plan

ClickUp’s Enterprise plan has no set cost. Interested businesses must contact the ClickUp sales team directly to work out a price.

What do you get with ClickUp’s Enterprise plan?

Enterprise is focused on the needs of a bigger business—especially its security needs.

The Business plan doesn’t offer much beyond two-factor authentication, but Enterprise adds custom single sign-ons and legal reviews.

You also get better customer support. ClickUp provides Enterprise subscribers with a dedicated customer success manager and special onboarding training. Here at monday.com we are BIG believers in priority customer support, which is why we offer 24/7 customer support and a response time of less than 60 minutes for all our users, and not only ones subscribed to our Enterprise plan.

Here’s what you get on top of the Business features:

  • 100,000 automations
  • Priority customer support
  • HIPAA compliance review
  • Contract review
  • Custom security permissions

But what do you do if you want an easy-to-use, yet sophisticated project management tool, with 24/7 customer support at an affordable price? Yes, this is realistic, and happens to be called monday.com!
