The first step is an in-person/Zoom interview. We’ll take a few minutes to get to know one another, and then we’ll present you with some technical challenges to test your coding skills.

This will be conducted using a platform named Coderpad. We’ll present you with a real-engineering challenge that we could encounter — and probably already have encountered — in our daily work. Your mission is to get the code running in the most efficient way.

End2End interview

The purpose of this interview is to understand the way you think and offer different solutions, your product sense and creativity. During this end-to-end thinking task, we will present you with an existing feature from our product and discuss it thoroughly, brainstorming about problems and challenges we deal with, finding different solutions and edge cases while having an open discussion with the interviewer.

This is also a chance to expose you to our product and answer any questions you might have.

System design & architecture

Professional
System design & architecture interview

This interview is a high-level technical interview. This time you will not talk about just one feature but about a wider system, several services in the ecosystem of our product. You will be required to think about how they can work and communicate together in the most efficient way.

An option for frontend-oriented candidates - in the question we discuss the planning of several layers of a frontend system. We are focusing on a system that provides client infrastructure. It is not limited to a particular library.
The purpose of this interview is to understand the way you think about the bigger picture and be able to suggest different solutions to the challenge.

You’ll meet your potential Group Lead and talk about how we work at monday. This is the time to ask all about our team challenges, vision, tech stack, personal development options and anything that may come up.

Also, we would be happy to get to know you better, personally and professionally and talk about your professional journey and career goals.

This meeting is meant to be more personal. It’s the time for us to get to know you better and to tell you more about our organizational culture, this is the chance to really understand if this is the right fit for both parties.

At this stage, we want to make sure that we have the full picture, so it’s time to speak with previous supervisors to better understand what it’s like to work with you.

We’ll ask you to share the contacts of 2 previous employers. We’ll speak with each of them and ask questions about how you work, things we should pay attention to, and what we can do to maximize your potential.
