Builders and R&D

monday.com is pioneering a truly AI-native, agentic platform where intelligence is a core architectural component, not an add-on. As an AI-first engineering org, we've built a unified ecosystem where autonomous agents and workflows actively execute work on behalf of our users. From an open MCP interface to orchestrating fleets of agents across the development lifecycle, we combine deep platform expertise with rapid iteration to solve high-magnitude challenges at scale. We're redefining what product and engineering can be in an agentic world — and we're just getting started.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at monday.com, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, taking full ownership of projects from conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Work alongside a team of experienced and talented developers in a CI/CD environment utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

  • Lead the development of new features and functionalities from ideation to implementation, managing the entire development lifecycle.

  • Build a shared vision with domain leadership for key product initiatives. Support development by prototyping and collaborating with leading developers and technical leaders across the organization, serving as a subject matter expert.

  • Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for our products, driving initiatives to enhance code quality, performance, and scalability.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous growth, inspiring the team to explore new ideas and think creatively.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze product metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Utilize our tech stack: React.JS, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elastic Search, Redis, and MySQL. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our product.

Requirements

  • Strong, proven technical skills and a passion for developing products that people love and use every day, developing features end-to-end (client and server).

  • 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications.

  • High sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Previous knowledge and experience with AI tools or integrating AI-driven solutions into products is an advantage.

  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and people from different departments to brainstorm, set targets, and devise solutions.

  • Great product sense and a passion for building software that provides a great experience.

  • Focus on quality and simplicity.

  • Team player with strong communication skills and empathy.

  • Degree in Computer Science is a plus, but not required—we value proven talent and experience.
