You’re wrapping up a brainstorm in Gemini, the plan is finally taking shape, and then you have to stop — open a new tab, find your monday.com AI workspace board, update it, and pick up where you left off. The idea is still there. The momentum isn’t.
We’ve been thinking about that gap for a while. And today, we’re closing it in two new places.
monday.com is now available as a connected app in Google Gemini — both for consumers using personal Gmail accounts and for business teams using Google Workspace. Powered by MCP, you can now connect your monday boards to Gemini and get your work done without ever having to switch tools. Just tag @monday.com in Gemini.
This builds on monday.com’s growing AI-powered partnership with Google, which includes our existing agent for Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise. Together, these integrations reflect a shared belief: your AI tools should work where you work.
monday.com in Google Gemini
If you use Gemini with a personal Google account, monday.com is now one of the connected apps you can bring directly into the chat.
Once connected, you can ask Gemini to surface information from your monday boards right there in the conversation — no tab switching, no manual searches. Ask about project status, check what’s overdue, or get a quick overview of what’s on your plate. Gemini can read your boards and give you the answers you need.
This rollout is currently live and expanding to English-speaking countries.
To get started: Connect monday.com in Gemini settings, or type @monday.com directly in any Gemini chat.
monday.com in Google Gemini Workspace
For teams using Google Workspace, monday.com is now available in the Google Workspace Marketplace.
This is the connection our mutual customers have been waiting for. It means Gemini can now surface and work with your monday data across the places your team already spends its day: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets.
Some of what’s now possible:
- In Gmail: Ask Gemini to pull up relevant monday items while you’re drafting a follow-up, without leaving your inbox
- In Docs and Slides: Reference your monday board data as you build out a project brief or a stakeholder presentation
- In Sheets: Cross-reference monday data alongside your spreadsheet analysis
For teams that live in Google Workspace, this means your project data, your CRM, and your operational workflows are now part of a connected experience, making getting work done easier.
Why this matters
Our customers don’t work in one place. Every day, they’re managing projects in monday.com, writing in Docs, presenting in Slides, and asking Gemini questions. Each time they had to manually bridge those tools, they lost time — and often, context.
These integrations don’t just add another connection. They reflect monday.com’s role as an AI workspace: one that meets teams of humans and agents wherever they already are, and makes it easier to go from thinking to executing, from any surface.
monday.com and Google are continuing to build on this partnership across Gemini, Gemini in Google Workspace, and Gemini Enterprise – because the future of work isn’t about picking one AI or one platform. It’s about making teamwork easier across them all.
