WorkCanvas.com — part of monday.com — is expanding into new, AI-native product areas, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-moving, high-impact team. You will help shape and build new products from the ground up, working across the stack in a dynamic environment that blends startup velocity with monday.com scale.

As part of a small, exceptionally talented engineering group, you'll own key product areas, influence architectural decisions, and ship user-facing features rapidly. This is a rare opportunity to help define the future of monday.com’s next wave of products.

Join a tight-knit team building the next generation of collaborative, AI-powered products. We experiment quickly, validate ideas fast, and ship frequently. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to design, build, and scale features end-to-end.

In this role, you will:

  • Build new AI-native products and features from 0→1, iterating rapidly based on user feedback
  • Work across the stack using modern technologies to create delightful user experiences
  • Lead and participate in architectural decisions as we scale multiple new product lines
  • Take full ownership of features from design to implementation, deployment, and monitoring
  • Partner closely with product and design to shape user workflows and accelerate delivery
  • Drive engineering excellence, reliability, and performance across fast-moving codebases
  • Help define best practices for AI-powered product development at monday.com

Our Tech Stack

React (Next.js), Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloudflare, and modern AI/LLM tooling.

Your Experience & Skills

  • Demonstrated strong technical skills and experience building full-stack applications end-to-end
  • Deep knowledge of React (Next.js), Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Experience building features that integrate LLMs or other AI technologies (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Llama)
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), CI/CD, deployments, and monitoring
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and scalability across frontend and backend
  • Strong communication skills, team mindset, and empathy
  • Passion for creating user-centered products that customers rely on daily

Advantages

  • Experience with vector embeddings, RAG architectures, or AI inference pipelines
  • Experience with real-time collaboration, WebSockets, or state-sync frameworks
  • Familiarity with product discovery, rapid prototyping, or startup environments
