Controller Group Lead

The Controller Group Lead is a senior role within the global Finance organization, responsible for managing and developing two core revenue teams: Revenue Accounting and Business Revenue.

This role owns the end to end revenue lifecycle, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition (ASC 606), operational excellence, scalable processes, and alignment across Sales, Billing, FP&A, Legal, and Operations.

  • Lead and manage the Revenue Accounting and Business Revenue teams.
  • Oversee end to end revenue processes, ensuring accuracy and ASC 606 compliance.
  • Own and oversee all commission processes, including policies, calculations, and validation.
  • Own month end and quarter end revenue close activities.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, SOX readiness, and audit support.
  • Drive cross-team alignment with client-facing teams, Billing, FP&A, Legal, and additional stakeholders.
  • Lead revenue-related projects, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
  • Own revenue dashboards, KPIs, insights, and executive-level reporting.
  • Review complex deals and serve as the escalation point for revenue-related questions.
  • Improve processes through standardization, optimization, automation and data integrity initiatives.
  • Build team capabilities, set goals, and develop a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with FP&A to develop revenue forecasts


Your Experience & Skills

  • CPA with 8+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting, including managerial experience.
  • Proven experience managing teams or team leads- must.
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606, Knowledge and experience with software and/or SaaS based or subscription revenue recognition.
  • Strong analytical and financial review skills.
  • Demonstrated success driving cross functional projects.
  • Ability to operate in fast paced, ambiguous environments and build structure where needed.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce - advantage.
  • Experience in a public SaaS company - advantage.
  • Experience working in global/multi region organizations - advantage.
