This is your chance to be part of an innovative R&D group that's building infrastructure and tools to empower our entire organization.

As we experience massive growth and scale to new heights, our Core Applications group plays a pivotal role in driving our product teams toward unparalleled success and scalability. Here's what you'll get to work on:

  • Micro Frontend Architecture: Design and maintain the systems that allow our product teams to build features independently while ensuring a cohesive user experience.
  • Innovative Global State Mechanism: Develop cutting-edge solutions for state management that enhance performance and developer productivity.
  • Performance Regression Tools: Create unique tools that catch performance issues during CI stages, ensuring our applications run smoothly at all times.
  • New SSR Layers: Build the next generation of Server-Side Rendering layers to improve load times and SEO across our platform.

By focusing on these core infrastructure projects, you'll enable our product teams to concentrate on delivering exceptional features, all while upholding high frontend standards and accelerating development

  • Infrastructure Improvement: Constantly contribute to our infrastructure libraries, enhancing our internal foundations.
  • Frontend Excellence: Advocate for best in class frontend development by promoting best practices and core capabilities of our infrastructure, collaborating with other frontend leaders within the organization to push our frontend development.
  • Contribute to Complex Projects: Be a part of the design and development of our core areas such as our global state mechanism, which is used across all of our micro frontends and different UI libraries
  • Talent Rich Environment: Be a part of a super talented team of highly skilled individuals working together innovating monday.com’s frontend ecosystem
  • Cross-R&D Collaboration: Engage with R&D team members to understand their challenges and needs, ensuring our tools meet their requirements.

Our Current Tech stack-

  • Frontend: React, MobX/Zustand, Typescript, CSS Modules, Storybook, Chromatic, Vite, Vitest
  • Backend: Node.js, Microservices

Your Experience & Skills

  • Technical Expertise: You have 3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and are proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Self-Learner: You are an independent self-learner with strong communication skills, capable of working effectively within a team.
  • Frontend Passion: You are passionate about frontend development, focusing on creating performant UI or developing amazing scalable infrastructure 
  • You have experience with micro frontend environments (advantage)
  • You are an advocate of clean and testable code (advantage)
