What is Certification Day at Elevate?

Certification Day takes place the day before the main conference begins. It’s available at Elevate NYC on October 27th, 2026, at the Javits Center, and at Elevate EMEA on November 23rd, 2026, at Excel London.

You’ll earn your official monday.com AI certification through a 4-hour hands-on training session led by monday.com professionals who build and deploy AI workflows every day. After completing the in-person session, you’ll receive an email with a short online exam to complete at your own pace. Pass it, and your certification is yours.

We’re offering two certification tracks at Elevate, each designed for different experience levels and goals. Let’s break them down:

Workshop 1: Core – Build Smarter with AI

This is a hands-on building session for anyone with foundational experience on the monday.com platform. You’ll work through a real use case step by step, learning how to construct workflows with an AI-first mindset. It’s not a demo or a lecture. Think of it as a guided playground: you’ll build directly in the platform, explore monday’s AI features in context, and leave knowing how to upgrade an existing workflow with intelligent automation.

If you’re getting started with building in monday and want to understand what AI-powered work management actually looks like in practice, this is your starting point.

AI is used throughout the session. If your account doesn’t have AI features enabled, no problem — AI-enabled accounts will be provided so everyone can participate fully.

Who it’s for: People who are familiar with the basics of monday.com — items, groups, and simple automations — and want to understand how AI fits into the work they’re already doing. No prior AI experience required.

Skills you’ll gain:

• Integrating AI into foundational workflows: See how AI capabilities connect to the boards, columns, and automations you already use.
• Building with AI-powered components: Create workflows that use AI to reduce manual work and surface insights automatically.

Workshop 2: Agentic Mindset – Plan and build like an agent architect

This is a deeper, more advanced session for experienced monday.com builders who are ready to move beyond individual workflows and think at a systems level. You’ll learn the agentic mindset: how to approach a problem from discovery through full execution, design a coordinated team of AI agents, and implement a complete agentic solution inside monday.

This isn’t about adding AI to what you already have. It’s about rethinking how work gets done from the ground up, building systems where agents do the thinking, planning, and executing alongside you.

If you’re comfortable building in monday and want to lead the next generation of intelligent, autonomous workflows, this session is built for you.

Who it’s for: Experienced monday.com builders who are comfortable with automations, cross-board processes, and more advanced workflows — and are ready to think at a systems level. You don’t need prior experience with AI agents, but you should be curious about where that’s going and open to a fundamentally different approach to how work gets built

• Agentic workflow design: Learn to approach problems from discovery to full execution, spanning multiple boards and teams.
• Coordinating AI agents: Design a team of agents that work together to run end-to-end processes inside monday.

How to Prepare for Certification Day

What to bring: Your laptop and charger. The full four hours are hands-on, so you’ll be building the entire time.

What to know: The 2026 certifications are completely new. Even if you’ve been certified before, this training covers AI-specific capabilities that didn’t exist in previous years. It’s worth completing again.

How to get the most out of it: Show up ready to build, not just watch. The session is designed around doing, and you’ll collaborate with other professionals in real time. You’ll also need to attend the full four hours to be eligible for the exam.

After the in-person session, you’ll receive an email with your online exam. Complete it on your own schedule, and your certification will be issued once you pass.

Certification Day is where you put it all together.

• Can I get certified without attending the training?

  For 2026, you earn your certification by attending the training, there’s no exam-only path. You’ll need to complete the full 4-hour session to get certified.

• What level of monday.com experience do I need?

  For the Core workshop, you should be comfortable with the basics: items, groups, and simple automations. No prior AI experience required. For the Agentic Mindset workshop, you should have solid experience building in monday, including automations and cross-board processes.

• Do I need AI features enabled on my account to participate?
