We are planning, writing, producing and approving our content through this template. We track all content through this calendar. We have even duplicated it for a 2019 version where we can add our evergreen content which we want to use for next year.
We have added many custom fields into the board that helps us fully review content between different teams all at the same time. This has truly brought us up to date within our content digital channels and simplified our process across the business.
Our design team can also track the content and start adding to the graphics folder which we may need.
Getting started tips
Duplicated a previous template and adding our personal fields we needed for approval, time est etc.
We split between:
Content title, author, status, publish date, category/tags, links, whether it has been shared on social, the persona group, where it is gated content and if the content has been approved. All very useful.
"We manage every bit of content to go on our blog through here so easily."
Why we love this template
Love this template because it makes everything so visible and improves our workflows. We can show seniors what we are working on so they can also chip in and offer their opinions.
All parts of creating content including: Content title, author, status, publish date, category/tags, links, whether it has been shared on social, the persona group, where it is gated content and if the content has been approved help us manage the full process of content.
Without this template I would
Be using Asana with less effect.
Be using excell with even less effect.
It would just in general give us less time on working on the things that matter which is the actual content building and then the distribution of that content through outreach SEO and PR channels. All channels are combined with this board.
