To plan and coordinate a church-wide event
We use this template to track all of the tasks we need to do in order to make our event a success. We have a timeline for each task and it is assigned to a specific person. One of our goals this year for our team to establish trust and accountability, so Monday has helped us do this. This is one of our major events of the year, so we separate it by role responsibilities and categories of the event.
Getting started tips
We created the board and made the template based on the roles, responsibilities, and different aspects of the event. Then, we created the pulses within each column to know exactly what we needed to do. The colors make it easy to see the status at first glance. We made custom tabs so we can have real-time updates on each task.
We have people involved in this event that don't need to be part of our Monday subscription, so we invited them as guests. It works so well because they can only be added into the boards that they need to be on. They don't see things they don't need to.
"It gives us an easy interface to see exactly what has already been done and what needs to be done in a fun, colorful way."
Why we love this template
We love this template because our tasks are getting done so much quicker and more efficiently. We don't have to wonder if someone has done something or forget who was assigned to do a specific task. This helps build trust and accountability within our team, and creates a better environment for our team to work.
Without this template I would
Lose track of who was assigned to what task. I would also have to create a timeline in either a Google Doc or something similar. Now, we only use Google docs for actual documents that we need and we can have a real-time way to track the status of the event. Now, we won't fall behind on making this event a success!
