Organizational Development Specialist

  • and our OD & Training team are scaling and we are looking for an experienced Organizational Development Specialist to join us! 

    As an Organizational Development Specialist, you will be responsible for increasing overall employee effectiveness by driving organization-wide employee development initiatives and enhancing leadership capacity.

    This position will play an integral part in defining, implementing, facilitating and evaluating programs, drawing from internal and external methods, tools, and resources, to facilitate organizational development and talent management across the department

    The Role
    • Conduct needs analysis with oversight to understand issues and diagnose the root cause
    • Growth and development-work with stakeholders in the company to create competency models and career paths
    • Create learning and development solutions that address workforce capabilities, skills, and competencies needed to support current and future strategies. Ensure learning and development programs embrace new technologies and multi-faceted delivery approaches 
    • Build upon existing programs and develop new innovative programs such as leadership development programs for entry to mid-level leaders, talent management programs, and engagement surveys 
    • Develop performance management processes including multi-source feedback
    • Conduct program management responsibilities (planning, communication, coordination, etc.) 
    • Identify data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets
    • Create and maintain current and future onboarding processes for all employees, leaders and other groups leveraging best practices, implementing metrics, Train the Trainer, and making continuous improvements
    • Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives
    Your Experience & Skills
    • 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Knowledge of leadership development, competency modeling, and career mapping
    • Ability to train/facilitate
    • Training content design and development - an advantage
    • Experience in a complex, global, fast pace, multi-site organizations
    • Project coordination
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to work with employees from all levels of the organization
    • A self-starter that has experience working independently on multiple projects, as well as in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
    • Solutions and systems-oriented
    • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Organizational Behavior Bachelor's Degree / or equivalent experience. Master's degree- preferred
