I'm so glad you could join today's session. Today's masterass is all about centralizing communication to break down silos. If you've ever found yourself wondering where's that update again in Slack, in email, or buried somewhere in a spreadsheet, then you're in exactly the right place. My name's Eleanor and I am an enterprise CSM. I'm here to show you how you can use monday.com to bring all your communication, context, and collaboration into one connected place so your workflows are streamlined. Why are we talking about this today? Most of us don't wake up thinking, \"I can't wait to update 10 reports today.\" But that's the reality for a lot of teams. According to Better Cloud, the average company now uses 112 SAS apps. That's more than double what most used just a few years ago. And while that sounds impressive, it actually creates one big problem, and that is disconnected communication. Information lives everywhere, updates get missed, and decisions slow down. That's how silos form. Not because teams don't care, but because their systems don't connect. So today, I'll show you how monday.com helps you centralize communication so nothing falls through the cracks. Create a single source of truth where everyone works from the same real-time view. and reduce delays through features like updates, automations, and AI tools that do the heavy lifting for you. We'll keep the session practical, visual, and quick. This isn't about theory. It's about showing you what it actually looks like to connect your teams and workflows end to end. Before we jump in, here's a quick one. How many of you have seen three different versions of the same report? One labeled final, one labeled final final, and final version seven. We've all been there. That's exactly what happens when communication isn't centralized. So, let's fix that. Rather than just talking about collaboration, let's actually see it in motion. I'm going to show you how monday.com brings structure, visibility, and communication together across an organization from planning to execution and all connected in one workflow. Our example today is a company kickoff event for 2026, which touches multiple teams and moving parts. will follow how tasks, updates, and data flow seamlessly between them to keep everything on track. You'll notice how easy it is to stay aligned even when different teams are working on different parts of the project. No chasing messages, no version confusion, just clarity and progress. Let's jump in and see what centralized communication looks like in real life. Now that we've discussed some of the challenges around centralizing communication and breaking silos, I'd like to show a real world demo of what this looks like in action from start to finish. Our example project is organizing a company kickoff for January 2026. This project requires visibility, coordination, and smooth information sharing. We need to track progress and collect key information from our employees to ensure they have the best possible experience. The goal throughout is one single source of truth, no delays, and no wasted time for a successful January 2026 event. I'll start in my work. This view pulls all of my own tasks into one place. I don't have to dig through email threads or ping colleagues to confirm responsibilities. Everything I need is visible, clear, and centralized. The information can come from multiple sources, but I'll show you shortly where we're organizing most of the key details for this specific project. This view is entirely customizable. You can select the information you need to see on a highle basis and how you need to see it. If you need visibility over your team's work, there is the option for that too. All of this empowers you to have quick access to accurate data either at a personal or a team level. It offers visibility without wasting time and helps you have context if anyone in the team is unavailable. As with most of what you see today, you can drill down into specifics to update from here. You can find out further information or ask for extra clarification where needed. Now, moving on to our kickoff project that I'm actually managing the tasks from. At the project level, the kickoff board shows progress across the entire event planning process. To keep everyone aligned and ensure the team is aware of the project's objectives, metrics, and background, we've created a collaborative work document that everyone can reference and contribute to. It's a great place to start for those not so familiar with our kickoff event, meaning they don't feel like they're missing out, and it's a great reference if they have questions throughout the process. We're utilizing the people column to ensure accountability. Each task has a clear owner and each column adds context for easy reporting, leaving no space for ambiguity. I can trust that the information is accurate because required fields such as task ownership are enforced. This is critical for avoiding delays and confusion. All board information is live. If anyone on the team makes a change, it is reflected immediately. Instead of updates being hidden in spreadsheets or across different tools, everyone is seeing the same live data, giving us that single sense of truth. If I need more clarity on a task, I don't waste time searching. I can drill down into the contextualized updates. In this thread, I can tag someone directly or check the activity log to see the latest movement. Within each board, I can customize the view to focus on what matters most. For example, I have a my tasks view. This can dynamically filter for anyone in the team, giving them clear visibility while keeping everything connected to our single source of truth. You can have multiple views attached to the one board. This can be tailored to suit you and your team's ways of working. If you're utilizing our project to portfolio views, you'll be able to add a resource planner per project. This allows you to immediately spot availability for your team members, but also easily get ahead of any project clashes that could cause delays. This visibility extends into the task level on your projects. You can easily see who you had planned as a resource for each step in your project. The easiest way of knowing if someone needs me is via my notifications, which exists up here. I can see when something has been assigned to me, something has been updated in one of my key projects, or if someone has specifically mentioned me for something that needs my attention. This is a great way to have seamless communication, and it keeps everyone accountable without losing context. You can, of course, customize these to only see and hear about what is important to you. If I need an even more zoomed out view of what's happening across multiple boards, projects or workspaces, I can use my update feed. I can look at what mentions that directly impact me or just get a view of updates across the account to see how my teams are collaborating. As I mentioned earlier, it's important for us to gather different information from multiple teams in multiple locations. To support this and streamline input from employees across the company, we're using work forms. As you can see, with work forms, we can easily collect dietary restrictions, shirt sizes, activity preferences, transport needs, and other essential information for this event. Once submitted, this information appears immediately on the board. Everyone with access to this board can track signups, view selections, and stay fully informed, eliminating confusion, delays, or lost information. We've also set up an automation to confirm each employees selections after they've filled this out using an AI block to summarize the data. The information is sent directly via our Gmail integration. Everything is tracked at the item level, so collaboration is seamless without manual input. If an employee needs to update their responses, they can do so easily without me having to intervene or manage their changes manually. For team members responsible for specific areas like transport, we need to keep them focused whilst keeping them in the loop. If an intake form indicates that someone needs transport, that information is automatically sent to our dedicated transport board. These two items remain connected. Any changes in our intake board are immediately reflected in the transport board and vice versa. The transport team can rely on the information knowing it's accurate and this is their single source of truth. This process continues to break down silos. people, ops, logistics, and transport all see the same data without duplication or unnecessary efforts. We've spoken about visibility being a core pillar when it comes to allowing for collaboration across the business. We know our senior leadership team do not want to be spending time sifting through our workspace just to get a snapshot of the progress we are making. And this brings me to dashboards. As I showed you earlier, per board, you can have specific views of the information you need to see. This is great for just accessing information from one place. Dashboards, however, can be even more powerful as you are able to select visual widgets from multiple data sources and see them in one place. Though this information is live, you're able to export it as a one-off or schedule an export to be sent to whoever you need on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. And as a side note, they do not need to have a Monday login to receive one of these reports. If you or your team spots something that needs to be investigated, simply drill down into the widget to get a closer look at what's happening. You can even ask for updates within here. Everything you change will be instantly changed in the board this item exists in. If you feel this information is great, but you don't need it from multiple sources or just want a specific temporary view, utilize our filters to get your single source of truth in a matter of seconds. To summarize, instead of scattered tools and constant delays, we have one centralized system. Communication is clear, silos are broken, and every team works from their single source of truth. That's how we eliminate wasted time and move our projects forward with confidence. So, as you've just seen, none of this is about doing something groundbreaking. It's about doing the right things consistently in one place. For some of you, this might be brand new, but for others, just a reminder of how powerful monday.com already is when it's used to its full potential. When teams share the same source of truth, communicate in context, and let automation and AI handle the rest, you don't just work faster, you work smarter. This was a masterass in centralizing communication to break silos. I'm Eleanor and thank you so much for joining."},"yoast_head":"\n
Elevate Online 2025 On Demand | Watch Top AI Sessions Anytime<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Catch up on Elevate Online 2025 with full on demand access.
