About The Role
monday.com is looking for a self-starter and highly motivated Privacy and Product Counsel to join our legal team.
- Establish and manage Privacy and Product practice & team within the legal team.
- Become monday.com's focal point for all privacy related matters, and lead and develop monday.com’s privacy and product compliance programs.
- Develop a strong understanding of the business and provide practical legal advice to all departments.
- Monitor and provide guidance on applicable laws and the industry practice.
- Develop and maintain business processes and internal policies.
- Manage potential privacy and data security risks, including investigations, notifications, and other resolution efforts.
- Provide ongoing legal counseling on a wide range of commercial issues and product compliance.
- Support commercial negotiations regarding data privacy and data security.
- Develop a risk-management approach and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues across all business functions.
Your Experience & Skills
- 4+ years experience working in a Privacy and Compliance department at a leading law firm or in house in a hi-tech company.
- You have a vast knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations, licensing and internet law (CIPP accreditation – advantage) in Israel, the U.S and abroad.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
- Organized and have an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated with a very strong work ethic
- Have a positive attitude and ability to handle complex matters independently
- Thorough, thoughtful, tech- savvy, analytical, and with a can-do attitude to lawyering
- Fluent English
