Design and getting bids<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As a construction manager, the first step in undertaking a new project is project design, ensuring your design meets local regulations and building codes, and adheres to the specifications laid out by the project owner.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The design phase can be further broken down into 5 sub-stages.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>1.
